Farmer Training Under PSDF
Abbasid Agri farms in collaboration with Punjab Skills Development Fund conducted farmers training in 5 districts of Northern Punjab. More than 150 farmers were given extensive trainings on Drip irrigation and Tunnel Farming to increase their skills and capability.
Guidance from PUM Netherlands
We also consult with an economic well-being corporation in the Netherlands, and with the Agriculture Department of the University of Texas, for guidelines to improve the quality of produce and to keep our methods up to date with the latest research in the field.
An expert in the field from PUM (Programma Uitzending Managers which is a notable Dutch organization), Mr. Ruud J. A. M. Bongers, visited all our farms over a period of 13 days in July 2008, and made very insightful suggestions for improvement of our processes. In December 2019, two PUM consultants Dr. Goos Cardol and Mr. G. Zwirkel visited us and conducted training on post-harvesting and processing techniques of vegetables.
